Online Meetings now held the 1st and 3rd Thursday’s of each month!

In order for participants to be able to plan for the online Calix meetings we have modified the schedule to hold them on the first and 3rd Thursdays of each month. We send out a reminder with instructions for joining the meeting early in the week when meetings are held that Thursday. You can call in or link in via computer with video.  Please send an email to Ken at treasurer@calixsociety.org to get put on the email distribution list!

    I am new to Calix. Our son’s drug addiction is my reason for joining. Would the online meeting be helpful to me? How long do they last?

    Hi Ann! You’ll find that most of the folks in Calix are a part of a 12-step program, primarily AA or Al-Anon. You are more than welcome to participate in the online meeting! You’ll find that most of the participants will use 12-step “language” but that’s no reason to not give it a try. If you’ve not heard of or tried Al-Anon you might consider it.

    I’m in Northern California. Is there a way to kick off a local group. I’m a sober AA member.
